I'm going to try to keep this one short-ish because it hurts to type and it takes forever too. My hands are all bundled up with just my fingers sticking out, but that's okay because I made it through surgery with flying colors.
Apparently when I woke up I sounded like a drunken sailor and I kept saying, "I like that Dr. Priest, Mom. I like Dr. Priest." Over and over. Then when Dr. Priest came and checked on me, I got all emotional and told him I liked him. Well, that's okay. There are worse people to fawn over than a top-notch anesthesiologist. Besides, it's true...I do like him. :)
I like Dr. Richards, too. He's my surgeon. Even though my hands hurt a lot, I can't even tell you how nice it is that my fingers aren't numb anymore! YAY for progress!
Thanks to everyone who's helping me. I appreciate it so much. I especially appreciate all the prayers and well wishes because I was getting pretty scared I was going to have a hard time with the anesthesia. Clearly everything worked out and now Dr. Priest has a friend for life, lol.
If you or a loved one is experiencing the complete pain that is carpal tunnel crap, I have no hesitation referring you to Dr. Ryan Richards. And if you need surgery, get Dr. Jeffrey Priest to give you the anesthesia. Can't stress that one enough!
