It's so nice to finally have a doctor I feel comfortable with. I trust this man. After Friday's debacle (I will NEVER recommend Dr. Thomas Houts at Wasatch Neurological Clinic, not EVER)...I feel like I'm back on track.  I met with my surgeon yesterday, and after some tests and hands on evaluation, I'm scheduled for surgery.

Richard said yesterday he was surprised at how well I was doing.  Me too, actually. But I read something the other day, and I'm trying to incorporate it into my daily life: What did fear ever accomplish?  Yes, I'm nervous about the surgery and I just want it to be over.  Yes, the recovery time (six weeks!) sounds blah and super long, but I've gotta do what I've gotta do.  Just getting a cortisone shot or "keeping an eye on it" isn't good enough this time. So I'm all in. Going to do both of my hands at the same time. Wish me luck!

I like how positive your attitude is on this. Things have a way of working out when you have faith.. :)
