Finally!

After many false starts due to the never-ending rain, we've finally tilled our gardens! Yup, that's garden with an s. We got really ambitious and decided to do two this year.  We've got 4 types of tomatoes, 5 types of peppers, 3 different zucchini plants, and broccoli and spaghetti squash.  I've never even attempted broccoli, so this should be interesting.

I forgot how the tilling and the raking hurts your back, but that's okay. It's worth it.  I can't wait to make spaghetti sauce again.  I'm glad I'm excited about that because I have a feeling we'll be making a ton.  We only got one garden planted today, but we'll get the other one tomorrow. I'm so glad we have a day before the rain starts again.

The thought of a plentiful harvest and a freezer full of veggies for the winter just makes me smile.
